The 22nd China Highway Informatization Conference and Technology Product Exhibition

　　The “China Expressway Informationization Symposium and Technology Product Exhibition” (CE), which was first held in 1999, is organized by the China Highway Society and hosted by the journal China Transportation Informationization. The event takes place annually and has successfully convened for twenty-one sessions to date, attracting a total of tens of thousands of participants.

　　From focusing on the construction of electromechanical systems for China’s expressways to advancing information‑technology development, and from small‑scale technical exchanges to the 21st edition of this industry‑leading event in 2019, over the past twenty-one years, this forum has played a vital role in promoting the development and modernization of expressway informatization in China. It has earned recognition and support from the Ministry of Transport and the China Association for Science and Technology, and has come to be regarded as the largest and most influential professional conference in China’s transportation‑informatization sector.

　　To implement the policies and spirit of the State Council and the Ministry of Transport regarding the deepening reform of the toll‑road system and the removal of provincial border toll stations on expressways, to achieve convenient electronic nonstop toll collection, to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of expressways, to better support the follow‑up implementation of the initiative to eliminate provincial border toll stations, to enhance the level of informationization and service on expressways, to exchange views on management and technical issues under the new tolling system, to strengthen the sharing of experience and expertise among peers, and to promote the application of new technologies and products, thereby contributing ideas and recommendations toward the goals of restructuring China’s road transport system, achieving standardization, enabling networked coordination and control, and advancing intelligent, smart transportation, the China Highway Society has scheduled the 22nd China Expressway Informationization Conference and Technology Product Exhibition (CEI‑2020) to be held in Chongqing on August 27–28, 2020.

　　The exhibition will cover nearly 30,000 square meters, with more than 280 domestic and international exhibitors expected to showcase their strengths and expertise.
